
Shoghi Effendi (Grandson)
Shoghi Effendi was the grandson of the founder of the Bahá'í Faith, Bahá'u'lláh. Born in 1897, he served as the Guardian of the Bahá'í Faith from 1921 until his death in 1957. He played a crucial role in organizing and expanding the Bahá'í community worldwide, interpreting Bahá'í teachings, and overseeing the construction of the Bahá'í World Centre in Haifa, Israel.
