Shock Absorbers

Shock absorbers are components in a vehicle’s suspension system that smooth out the ride by controlling the movement of the springs. When the vehicle encounters bumps or rough terrain, the springs compress and rebound. Shock absorbers dampen these motions by converting the kinetic energy into heat through hydraulic fluid or gas, preventing excessive bouncing and maintaining stability. This results in a more comfortable ride and better handling, as the tires stay in contact with the road. Essentially, shock absorbers act as a controlled cushion, improving safety and vehicle performance.
