Shenzhou spacecraft
The Shenzhou spacecraft is China's crewed space vehicle designed for human spaceflight. It functions as a crew transport, orbiting Earth to carry astronauts to and from space, and supports on-orbit operations. Similar in design to Russia’s Soyuz spacecraft, it consists of a re-entry capsule for crew safety, an orbital module for living and working, and an engineering section for systems. Shenzhou enables China to conduct space experiments, build space stations, and develop advanced space technology. Its success marks significant progress in China's space exploration capabilities, contributing to international space research and maritime presence.
