Shelfari was an online social platform dedicated to book lovers, allowing users to create virtual bookshelves, share their favorite titles, write reviews, and discuss books with others. Launched in 2006, Shelfari provided a way to enhance reading experiences through social interaction and personalized recommendations. In 2016, it was integrated into Goodreads, another popular book community platform, and gradually phased out.
