
Sheikh Ahmed Sirhindi
Sheikh Ahmed Sirhindi (1564–1624) was a prominent Indian Islamic scholar and spiritual leader from the Mughal era. He is known for advocating the renewal of Islamic faith and practices, emphasizing inner spirituality and adherence to traditional teachings. Sirhindi sought to revive pure Sufi practices and promote Islamic orthodoxy during a time of cultural and religious change. His efforts aimed to deepen religious understanding and foster unity among Muslims, earning him the title "Mujaddid" (renewer).
