Sheehan Disability Scale

The Sheehan Disability Scale is a brief, self-report questionnaire used to assess how much a person's mental health issues, like depression or anxiety, interfere with their daily life. It asks individuals to rate the impact of their symptoms on three areas: work or school, social life, and daily activities at home. Each area is scored on a scale, typically from 0 (no difficulty) to 10 (very severe difficulty). This helps healthcare providers understand the severity of impairment caused by mental health conditions and monitor changes over time to guide treatment.
