Sharīʿah
Sharīʿah is the Islamic legal and ethical framework derived from the Quran, the sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad (Hadith), and other sources. It guides Muslims on matters of faith, morality, personal conduct, family, and societal laws, promoting justice, compassion, and righteousness. While it encompasses religious rituals, it also provides guidance on everyday issues like commerce, marriage, and justice. Sharīʿah aims to foster a balanced and moral life, rooted in divine principles, and its interpretation can vary across different cultures and communities within the Muslim world.
