Shah Karim Al Hussaini

Shah Karim Al Hussaini, also known as the Aga Khan IV, is the spiritual leader of the Nizari Ismaili Shia Muslim community. Born in 1936, he has held the position since 1957. He provides religious guidance, promotes education, social development, and cultural initiatives worldwide. The Aga Khan also leads the Aga Khan Development Network, which works to improve living conditions in various underserved regions through health programs, education, and economic development. His leadership emphasizes pluralism, tolerance, and the importance of knowledge as fundamental to progress.
