Seven Weeks' War

The Seven Weeks' War, also known as the Austro-Prussian War of 1866, was a brief conflict between Austria and Prussia, along with their respective allies, over control of German territories. Prussia, led by Otto von Bismarck, aimed to unify Germany under its leadership. The war resulted in a quick Prussian victory, thanks to their superior military strategy and modernized forces. Austria was defeated and excluded from future German unification efforts, leading to the rise of Prussia as the dominant German power. The conflict significantly reshaped the political landscape of Central Europe.
