Seven Summits

The Seven Summits are the highest mountains on each of the seven continents. Climbing them represents a significant challenge and achievement in mountaineering. The list includes Mount Everest in Asia, Aconcagua in South America, Denali in North America, Kilimanjaro in Africa, Elbrus in Europe, Vinson in Antarctica, and Mount Olympus or Puncak Jaya in Australia/Oceania. Many climbers pursue the Seven Summits to test their endurance, skill, and resilience while experiencing diverse environments and cultures around the world. Completing all seven is viewed as a pinnacle of mountaineering accomplishment.
