Sevan Lake

Sevan Lake is a large, high-altitude freshwater lake located in Armenia, renowned for its stunning beauty and ecological significance. Covering about 1,200 square kilometers, it is one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world situated at an elevation of around 1,900 meters (6,200 feet). The lake is historically important and serves as a vital resource for local communities for fishing, tourism, and water supply.
