Set Concepts
Set concepts involve groups or collections of distinct objects, called elements. Think of a set as a well-defined box containing certain items; for example, the set of all even numbers or all fruits. Elements are considered part of a set if they belong to that group. Sets can be compared: one set can be a subset of another if all its elements are contained within the larger set. Sets can also be combined using operations like union (combining elements), intersection (common elements), and difference (elements in one set but not another). These concepts help organize and analyze groups and their relationships logically.
