Serious Organized Crime Agency
The Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) was a UK law enforcement organization responsible for tackling major criminal networks involved in activities like drug trafficking, human trafficking, fraud, and money laundering. It worked to disrupt and dismantle organized crime groups that operate across jurisdictions, often involving sophisticated operations. SOCA coordinated intelligence and investigations to protect public safety and economic integrity. In 2013, it was merged into the National Crime Agency (NCA), which now continues its mission to combat serious and organized crime across the UK.
