Serbs

Serbs are an South Slavic ethnic group primarily from Serbia, a country in Southeast Europe. They have a rich history and cultural heritage, with traditions rooted in Eastern Orthodoxy. The Serbian identity is shaped by centuries of medieval development, Byzantine influence, and more recent history within the Balkans. Today, Serbs live mainly in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and in diaspora communities around the world. They speak Serbian, a South Slavic language, and maintain cultural practices such as folk music, dance, and Orthodox Christian celebrations, which play a significant role in their social life.
