Sephardi Jews

Sephardi Jews are a Jewish ethnic and cultural group originating from the Iberian Peninsula—Spain and Portugal—before being expelled in the late 15th century. They developed their own religious customs, liturgical traditions, and spoken languages such as Ladino. After expulsion, many settled in North Africa, the Middle East, and the Balkans, maintaining distinct cultural identities.
