Sentential Logic

Sentential logic, also known as propositional logic, is a system used to analyze logical statements and their relationships. It focuses on whole sentences or propositions, which can be either true or false. In this framework, we use symbols to represent these propositions and logical connectives (like "and," "or," "not," "if...then") to form complex expressions. Unlike predicate logic, which deals with the internal structure of statements involving subjects and predicates, sentential logic treats propositions as indivisible units, allowing us to evaluate their truth values and understand logical implications without delving into the details of their content.
