Sensor-shift stabilization

Sensor-shift stabilization is a technology used in cameras to reduce blur from camera movement. Instead of using lens-based stabilization, it moves the camera’s image sensor or sensor assembly itself in the opposite direction of any shake. This compensates for hand movements during shooting, resulting in sharper images and steadier videos. The system detects motion with sensors and then precisely adjusts the sensor in real-time. This approach allows for more effective stabilization across different lenses and is especially beneficial for low-light photography and telephoto shots, providing clearer images even when handheld.
