Senses

Senses are the way our body gathers and interprets information from the environment. They include sight (vision), hearing (auditory), touch (tactile), taste (gustation), and smell (olfaction). Each sense uses specialized organs—eyes, ears, skin, tongue, and nose—to detect specific stimuli like light, sound waves, pressure, chemicals, or odors. This information is then transmitted to our brain, where it's processed to help us understand and respond to our surroundings. Senses are vital for everyday functioning, safety, and experiencing the world around us.
