Senenmut

Senenmut was a prominent ancient Egyptian official who served as a palace administrator and chief steward during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut around 1479–1458 BCE. He held many important roles, including overseeing royal projects and Deir el-Bahri, a major temple complex. Senenmut was highly educated and trusted by the queen, evidenced by his luxurious tomb and the many statues depicting him. His influence helped shape Egypt’s architecture and religious practices during his time, making him a notable figure in Egypt’s history for his administrative skill and closeness to the throne.
