Semaphore Pattern

The semaphore pattern is a way to control access to shared resources in computing systems. Imagine a semaphore as a counter that tracks how many people can use a resource at once, like a parking lot with limited spaces. When a process wants to use the resource, it checks the semaphore: if there's space, it proceeds and decreases the count; if not, it waits until another process frees up. This ensures that resources are used efficiently without conflicts or overuse, coordinating multiple processes smoothly and preventing issues like data corruption or crashes.
