Semantic Relations

Semantic relations are the ways words relate to each other in meaning. They help us understand how concepts connect, such as synonyms (words with similar meanings like "happy" and "joyful"), antonyms (opposites like "hot" and "cold"), and associations like "causes" or "part of" (e.g., "engine" is part of a "car"). Recognizing these relations allows us to interpret language more accurately, improve communication, and process information efficiently. Essentially, semantic relations map the conceptual links between words, providing structure to language and meaning.
