Self and others
"Self" refers to an individual's sense of identity, consciousness, and personal experience—how you understand and perceive who you are. "Others" are people outside of oneself, including friends, family, and society, with whom we interact and relate. Recognizing the distinction helps us navigate relationships and develop empathy, as understanding our own perspectives (self) allows us to better appreciate varying viewpoints and experiences of those around us (others). This relationship shapes social awareness, communication, and personal growth.
