Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT) is a non-invasive laser treatment used to reduce eye pressure in glaucoma. It targets specific cells in the eye's drainage system called the trabecular meshwork, using a low-energy laser that selectively stimulates natural fluid outflow. This helps lower intraocular pressure, reducing the risk of optic nerve damage.
