Sejong the Great was a revered Korean king who ruled from 1418 to 1450. He is best known for creating Hangul, the Korean alphabet, which made reading and writing accessible to all people, significantly boosting literacy. Sejong also promoted scientific advancements, including improvements in agriculture, weather forecasting, and military technology. His leadership emphasized cultural development, justice, and support for Confucian principles.
