Seizures

Seizures are sudden, uncontrolled electrical disturbances in the brain that can cause changes in behavior, movement, feelings, or awareness. They can vary widely: some may cause convulsions and loss of consciousness, while others may result in subtle lapses or unusual sensations. Seizures can be triggered by various factors, including epilepsy, head injuries, high fever, or certain medical conditions. While a single seizure may not indicate a serious problem, recurrent seizures usually require medical evaluation and treatment. Management may include medication, lifestyle changes, or, in some cases, surgery, depending on the underlying cause and frequency.
