Seizure guideline

Seizure guidelines provide steps to help during a seizure. Stay calm and protect the person from injury—gently move sharp objects away. Do not hold them down or put anything in their mouth. Turn them onto their side if possible to keep their airway clear. Time the seizure; if it lasts longer than five minutes, call emergency services. After it stops, stay with them until they recover, as they may be confused or tired. Offer reassurance and avoid giving food or drinks until fully alert. These guidelines help ensure safety and proper care during seizures.
