Secure Flight Program

The Secure Flight Program is a U.S. government initiative designed to enhance airline security. Managed by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), it requires airlines to collect passenger information, such as names and birthdates, and send it to the TSA prior to flights. This data is then compared against government watchlists to identify individuals who may pose security risks. The goal is to ensure safer travel by preventing potentially dangerous passengers from boarding flights while maintaining privacy for legitimate travelers.
