Sea water

Seawater is the salty, mineral-rich water found in oceans and seas. It covers about 71% of Earth's surface and plays a vital role in maintaining the planet's climate and supporting marine life. Composed mainly of water (about 96.5%) and dissolved salts (mainly sodium chloride), seawater also contains other minerals and organic materials. Its saltiness, or salinity, influences ocean currents and weather patterns. Seawater is essential for aquatic ecosystems, acting as a habitat for countless species and impacting global processes such as the water cycle and climate regulation.
