Sea Scouts

Sea Scouts are a youth program that combines maritime skills, leadership development, and community service through activities related to sailing, boat handling, navigation, and safety. Usually part of the larger Scouting movement, participants learn practical skills while fostering teamwork, responsibility, and confidence. The program often involves outdoor adventures on water and land, encouraging environmental awareness and self-reliance. Sea Scouts typically serve ages 14 to 21 and aim to prepare young people for safe and enjoyable experiences on the water, as well as instilling values like respect, discipline, and service.
