Sea otter

Sea otters are marine mammals known for their dense fur and playful behavior. They inhabit coastal waters along North America and Asia, where they play a vital role in maintaining healthy ecosystems. Sea otters feed mainly on sea urchins, crabs, and mollusks, helping control prey populations that could otherwise damage kelp forests. They are highly social, often floating together in groups, and are skilled divers, using tools like rocks to open shellfish.
