Sculling
Sculling is a method of rowing where a single person propels a boat using a oar (called a scull) with both hands, moving it back and forth across the width of the boat. Unlike sweep rowing, which uses one oar per person, sculling involves two oars, one in each hand. The rower maintains a steady, rhythmic motion, working both arms equally to generate smooth, efficient propulsion. This technique allows for precise control and greater balance, making it popular in racing, recreational boating, and various water sports.
