Scottish Unionist Party

The Scottish Unionist Party was a political party in Scotland that supported maintaining the political union between Scotland and the United Kingdom, favoring continued integration with Britain. Originating in the early 20th century, it primarily represented conservative and pro-union interests during debates over Scottish independence and home rule. The party eventually merged with the Conservative Party in the 1960s, becoming part of the broader UK Conservative movement, and thus no longer exists as a separate entity.
