Scottish Arts Council

The Scottish Arts Council was a government-funded organizations responsible for supporting and promoting arts across Scotland. It provided funding, resources, and strategic support to artists, arts organizations, and cultural initiatives to ensure a vibrant, diverse arts scene. Its goal was to make arts accessible to everyone, fostering creativity, cultural expression, and social inclusion. In 2010, the Scottish Arts Council was merged into Creative Scotland, which now carries forward its mission to develop and promote arts, screen, and creative industries in Scotland.
