Scott Walker
Scott Walker is an American politician who served as the governor of Wisconsin from 2011 to 2019. A member of the Republican Party, he is known for his conservative policies, including reforms to public employee unions, budget management, and education. Before becoming governor, he was the Milwaukee County Executive. His tenure was marked by efforts to reduce government spending and oppose certain labor rights, which sparked both support for fiscal responsibility and controversy over workers’ rights. Walker's initiatives made him a prominent figure in national politics, and he sought the Republican presidential nomination in 2016.
