Scott's Great Snake

Scott's Great Snake was a large, prehistoric marine reptile from the Late Jurassic period, known scientifically as *Tylosaurus*. It belonged to a group called mosasaurs, which resembled modern monitor lizards but were much larger and aquatic. Measuring up to 50 feet long, it was a formidable predator, hunting fish and other marine creatures. Its sleek, elongated body and powerful tail allowed swift movement through the water. Fossils of Scott's Great Snake help paleontologists understand marine ecosystems of the time and the evolution of large marine reptiles.
