Scott of the Antarctic (Robert Falcon Scott)
Robert Falcon Scott, known as Scott of the Antarctic, was a British explorer celebrated for his ambitious expeditions to Antarctica in the early 20th century. His most famous journey was the 1910-1913 Terra Nova Expedition, during which he aimed to become the first person to reach the South Pole. Scott and his team reached the pole in January 1912, only to discover that Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen had beaten them there. Tragically, Scott and his companions perished during their return journey, making his story one of heroism, ambition, and the harsh realities of polar exploration.
