Scorpion
A scorpion is an arachnid with eight legs and a segmented body, best known for its distinctive, curved tail ending in a venomous stinger. They are primarily nocturnal predators, feeding on insects and small invertebrates. Scorpions use their pincers to grasp prey and their tail to deliver venom, which can immobilize or kill prey, and sometimes defend against threats. Found in diverse environments worldwide, they play important roles in ecosystems. While some species’ stings can cause pain or allergic reactions, most are not dangerous to humans.
