Score (musical)
A musical score, or simply "score," is the written or printed version of a musical composition. It details all the musical parts and instructions for performers, including melodies, harmonies, rhythms, and dynamics. In a typical orchestral or ensemble work, the score shows each instrument's part arranged on separate staves, allowing conductors and musicians to see how their parts fit within the whole. Think of it as a blueprint that guides the performance, ensuring all elements come together cohesively to bring the composer’s vision to life.
