Schneider's Culture Model
Schneider’s Culture Model suggests that organizational culture is shaped by the environment in which a company operates. It identifies three types: Adaptive cultures, which thrive in dynamic, changing markets with a focus on flexibility and innovation; Involvement cultures, which prioritize teamwork, participation, and employee empowerment; and Consistency cultures, which emphasize stability, rules, and clear procedures. The model explains that companies tend to develop culture traits aligned with their external environment and strategic goals, influencing how they operate, make decisions, and relate to employees and customers.
