Schön's Reflective Model
Schön's Reflective Model describes how professionals learn from their experiences by thinking about what they’ve done. It involves two key steps: "reflection-in-action," which is thinking while working to solve a problem, and "reflection-on-action," which is reviewing and learning from the experience afterward. This process helps individuals improve their skills, make better decisions, and develop deeper understanding by continuously analyzing what worked, what didn’t, and why. It encourages an ongoing cycle of thoughtful practice, supporting growth through deliberate reflection in real-time and after completing tasks.
