Scan-to-BIM
Scan-to-BIM is a process that uses 3D laser scanning technology to create precise digital models of physical spaces, such as buildings or infrastructure. First, laser scanners capture detailed measurements and geometry of the environment. These data points are then processed to generate a highly accurate, detailed digital representation called a Building Information Model (BIM). This virtual model helps architects, engineers, and construction professionals analyze, plan, and manage building projects more effectively, improving accuracy and collaboration throughout the design and construction phases.
