Scan procedure

A scan procedure involves capturing detailed images of the inside of the body using specialized machines, such as MRI, CT, or ultrasound. The process helps doctors see organs, tissues, and structures clearly, aiding in diagnosis or treatment planning. Typically, you lie still on a table that slides into the scanner. The machine may make noises during the process and it's important to remain still to get accurate images. The entire scan usually takes a few minutes to an hour, depending on the type. Afterward, a doctor reviews the images to diagnose or monitor your condition.
