Sauropods
Sauropods were a group of large, long-necked herbivorous dinosaurs that lived during the Mesozoic era. They included some of the largest land animals ever, such as Brachiosaurus and Diplodocus. Characterized by their tall stature, elongated necks and tails, and massive bodies supported by pillar-like legs, sauropods used their necks to reach high vegetation and forage over wide areas. They had small heads relative to their bodies, and their enormous size helped deter predators. Sauropods played a crucial role in their ecosystems, and their fossils provide valuable insights into dinosaur biology and evolution.
