Sauropoda

Sauropoda is a group of large, long-necked, plant-eating dinosaurs that thrived during the Mesozoic Era. They are characterized by massive bodies, elongated necks and tails, and pillar-like legs that supported their enormous weight. Notable members include Brachiosaurus and Diplodocus. Sauropods could reach lengths of over 100 feet, making them some of the largest land animals to have ever existed. They played a vital role in their ecosystems as primary herbivores, consuming vast amounts of vegetation, and their fossils provide important insights into prehistoric life and dinosaur evolution.
