Saturn V launch sites

The Saturn V rockets, which launched Apollo missions to the Moon, were primarily operated from Kennedy Space Center in Florida and related facilities at the Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex. The main launch site was Launch Complex 39A and 39B, specially designed to accommodate these massive rockets. These sites included giant launch pads, stronghold towers for vehicle assembly and access, and extensive support infrastructure. Their strategic location near the equator provided an extra boost to the rocket’s power, making launches more efficient. These sites are now historic landmarks and have been repurposed for other space missions, but they remain iconic symbols of human space exploration.
