Satellite operators
Satellite operators are organizations or companies responsible for managing and controlling satellites in space. They handle tasks such as launching, monitoring, and maintaining satellites to ensure they perform their functions—like communication, weather observation, or navigation—effectively and safely. They use ground-based stations equipped with antennas to communicate with satellites, sending commands and receiving data. Satellite operators also coordinate with launch providers and address technical issues to keep satellites operational throughout their lifespan. Essentially, they ensure satellites serve their intended purposes reliably and efficiently in orbit.
