Sariska Tiger Reserve

Sariska Tiger Reserve, located in Rajasthan, India, is a protected area established in 1955 to conserve tigers and other wildlife. Covering approximately 800 square kilometers, it features diverse landscapes like dry deciduous forests, rocky terrain, and grasslands. The reserve hosts various animals including tigers, leopards, hyenas, and deer. It was initially a royal hunting ground before becoming a wildlife sanctuary, and later a tiger reserve under Project Tiger in 1978.
