Sardar Patel Stadium (Old)
Sardar Patel Stadium, also known as the "Old" stadium, was a historic cricket venue located in Ahmedabad, India. Established in 1924, it was one of the largest cricket grounds globally, with a capacity of around 49,000 spectators. The stadium hosted numerous domestic and international cricket matches, including significant Test and One Day Internationals. Known for its passionate atmosphere, it played a vital role in Indian cricket history. In 2013, it was demolished and replaced by a modern, larger stadium called the Narendra Modi Stadium, which now hosts major cricket events. The old stadium remains a symbol of cricket's rich heritage in India.
