Sankhya philosophy
Sankhya philosophy is an ancient Indian system that explains the nature of reality through dualism. It posits two fundamental substances: Purusha (consciousness or spirit) and Prakriti (material nature). Purusha is the observer, unchanging and passive, while Prakriti is dynamic, comprising matter, mind, and energy. The interaction between these two creates the experience of the world, including mind and physical form. The goal of Sankhya is to realize the distinction between Purusha and Prakriti, leading to liberation (kaivalya) by transcendingAttachment to the material aspects of existence.
