Sanacja movement
The Sanacja movement was a political movement in Poland in the 1920s and 1930s, founded after the chaotic period following World War I. It aimed to stabilize the country through strong, centralized leadership, reducing corruption, and promoting national unity. Led by Józef Piłsudski, Sanacja sought to restore order and modernize Poland, often through authoritarian measures. Although it promoted order and development, critics saw it as limiting democracy and concentrating power in the hands of a few. Overall, it played a key role in shaping Poland's political landscape during that interwar period.
